1. Simple Past Tense
Structure: Subject + V2 (past form) + Object.

2. Past Continuous Tense
Structure: Subject + was/were + V1 + ing + Object.

rang.
5. We were watching TV all evening.
6. The kids were shouting in the park.

arrived.
