Personal Letter

1. Use the Right Format

A personal letter usually follows this structure:

Sender’s Address & Date (Top-right corner)
Salutation/Greeting (e.g., Dear [Name],)
Introduction – Start with a warm opening and state the purpose of the letter.
Body – Provide details, share thoughts, and express emotions.
Closing – End politely with a closing remark.
Signature – Sign off with Best regards, Yours sincerely, or Warm wishes followed by your name.

2. Keep the Tone Natural & Friendly

  • Write as if you're speaking to the person.
  • Use a warm and conversational tone.
  • Avoid being too formal unless necessary.

3. Be Clear & Concise

  • Get to the point but keep it engaging.
  • Use short paragraphs to improve readability.

4. Add a Personal Touch

  • Share memories, experiences, or emotions to make the letter feel heartfelt.
  • If writing to a friend or family member, ask about their well-being.

5. Check Grammar & Spelling

  • Even personal letters should be well-written and error-free.
