1.
Describe an advertisement that persuaded you to buy a product.
Last year, I saw an advertisement for a fitness smartwatch on
YouTube and social media. The ad showed a young man tracking his steps, heart
rate, and sleep patterns using the watch. It highlighted useful features like
water resistance, long battery life, and call notifications. The visuals were
very modern, and the background music was energetic, making the product feel
exciting and essential for a healthy lifestyle. The ad also featured real
customer reviews and fitness tips, which made it more trustworthy. I had been
thinking about improving my fitness, so the timing was perfect. I decided to
purchase the watch, and it has helped me a lot in tracking my daily activities.
I think the advertisement was effective because it was simple, clear, and
showed exactly how the product could make my life better, especially with
health and time management.
2. Describe a
challenging thing you have done.
One of the most challenging things I have done was learning to
ride a motorbike. I did this about two years ago because I needed to travel to
work quickly and independently. At first, I was very scared because balancing
the bike and controlling speed was difficult. I also had to learn traffic rules
and practice in crowded areas, which made it even more challenging. I handled
this challenge by practicing every morning in an open space with my uncle’s
help. Slowly, I gained confidence. I also watched tutorial videos to understand
safe riding techniques. Finally, after two weeks of practice, I was able to
ride confidently on the road. I found this challenging because it required
focus, balance, and overcoming fear. However, completing this task made me more
independent and gave me a great sense of achievement.
Describe
an old person that you know.
An old person I know and admire greatly is my grandfather. He is
my father’s father, and he is around 80 years old. I have lived with him since
childhood, so I see him every day. He has always been a very kind and wise man.
He worked as a school principal before retiring, and many people in our
community respect him for his knowledge and fairness. Whenever people meet him,
they greet him warmly and ask for advice. He is also well-known for his
storytelling abilities, and he often shares valuable life lessons with me and
my siblings. I like him a lot because he is patient, kind-hearted, and has a
great sense of humor. He never gets angry and always speaks gently. He also encourages
me to study hard and never give up. I enjoy spending time with him, listening
to his stories about the past. He teaches me about honesty, hard work, and
respect for others. His wisdom and experience inspire me to become a better
person, and I feel blessed to have him in my life.
2. Describe a
child that you know and like a lot.
A child I know and really like is my cousin’s daughter, Anisha.
She is six years old and lives nearby, so I see her almost every weekend when I
visit my cousin’s house. I’ve known her since she was born, and I have watched
her grow into a smart and playful little girl. She is full of energy and always
curious about everything around her. Anisha loves drawing and often surprises
us with her creative artwork. She also enjoys dancing and watching cartoons. I
like her a lot because she is very cheerful and always brings positive energy
into the room. She is also polite and well-mannered, which makes everyone love
her. She asks a lot of interesting questions and loves learning new things,
which I find very impressive for her age. I enjoy playing games with her and
helping her with small tasks like coloring or reading storybooks. She makes me
feel happy and reminds me of the joy of childhood. Her innocence and laughter
brighten up everyone’s mood, and spending time with her helps me relax and
forget my worries.
