Definition / परिभाषा

English:
The Present Continuous Tense is used to talk about an action that is happening now, temporary actions, or planned future actions.

नेपाली:
Present Continuous Tense अहिले भइरहेको काम, अस्थायी काम, वा नजिकको भविष्यमा तय गरिएको काम जनाउन प्रयोग गरिन्छ।

Structure / बनावट

Affirmative (Positive)

English Structure:
Subject + am / is / are + V-ing

नेपाली बनावट:
कर्ता + am / is / are + क्रियामा ing

Examples

• I am studying English.
  म अंग्रेजी पढ्दै छु।
• She is cooking food.
  ऊ खाना पकाउँदै छे।

English Structure:
Subject + am / is / are + not + V-ing

Examples

• I am not sleeping now.
  म अहिले सुतिरहेको छैन।
