In this task, a passage
is given with missing words. You must choose the correct word
for each blank from a drop-down
list of options. Sometimes, the task tests grammar, vocabulary, or context understanding.
Rules & Strategies
- Read the Entire Passage First
- Understand the overall
meaning and context.
- Check the topic,
tone, and style.
- Check the Part of Speech
- Identify if the blank requires a noun, verb, adjective, adverb, or preposition.
