Future Tense with four sub-types

Tense 1: Simple Future Tense

Structure: Subject + will/shall + Verb (base form / V1) + Object

Use:

• Predictions about the future (without evidence).
• Spontaneous decisions made at the moment of speaking.
• Promises, offers, threats, and requests.
• Future facts or certainties.

Alternative Structure (for planned events): Subject + is/am/are + going to + V1 + Object
(Use this for plans and intentions)

Time Adverbs: Tomorrow, next week/month/year, soon, later, in the future, one day, tonight, etc.

1	I will call you tomorrow morning.	म भोलि बिहान तपाईंलाई फोन गर्नेछु।
2	She will finish her project next week.	उनी अर्को हप्ता आफ्नो प्रोजेक्ट सक्नेछिन्।
3	They are going to visit Pokhara this summer.	उनीहरू यो गर्मीमा पोखरा भ्रमण गर्न लागेका छन्।
4	We will help you with your luggage.	हामी तपाईंलाई सामान बोक्न सहयोग गर्नेछौं।
5	He will become a doctor one day.	उनी एक दिन डाक्टर बन्नेछन्।
6	I will not forget our anniversary.	म हाम्रो वार्षिकोत्सव बिर्सने छैन।
7	Will you attend the meeting tomorrow?	के तपाईं भोलि बैठकमा सहभागी हुनुहुनेछ?
8	She is going to buy a new car next month.	उनी अर्को महिना एउटा नयाँ गाडी किन्न लागेकी छिन्।
9	The train will arrive at 6 PM sharp.	रेल ठीक ६ बजे आइपुग्नेछ।
10	I promise I will study harder from today.	म आजदेखि अझ मेहनतले पढ्नेछु भन्ने वाचा गर्छु।

Tense 2: Future Continuous Tense

Structure: Subject + will be + Verb(+ing) + Object

Use:

• Actions that will be in progress at a specific time in the future.
• Actions that will happen naturally in the normal course of events.
• To ask politely about someone's future plans.
• To emphasize the duration of a future action.

Time Adverbs: At this time tomorrow, at 5 PM next Monday, this time next week, while, when, all day tomorrow, etc.

1	I will be studying at this time tomorrow.	म भोलि यसै समयमा अध्ययन गरिरहेको हुनेछु।
2	She will be cooking dinner when you arrive.	उनी तपाईं आइपुग्दा खाना पकाउँदै हुनेछिन्।
3	They will be playing cricket in the park all evening.	उनीहरू साँझभरि पार्कमा क्रिकेट खेलिरहेका हुनेछन्।
4	We will be driving to Kathmandu this time next week.	हामी अर्को हप्ता यसै समयमा काठमाडौं गाडी चलाइरहेका हुनेछौं।
5	He will be working on his presentation at 5 PM.	उनी ५ बजे आफ्नो प्रस्तुतिमा काम गरिरहेका हुनेछन्।
6	I will not be sleeping when you call me tonight.	म आज राति तपाईंले फोन गर्दा सुतिरहेको हुनेछैन।
7	Will she be coming to the party tomorrow?	के उनी भोलि पार्टीमा आउँदै हुनेछिन्?
8	The kids will be playing in the garden while we talk.	बच्चाहरू हामी कुरा गर्दा बगैंचामा खेलिरहेका हुनेछन्।
9	This time next month, we will be celebrating our anniversary.	अर्को महिना यसै समयमा, हामी हाम्रो वार्षिकोत्सव मनाइरहेका हुनेछौं।
10	Don't call me at 8 AM because I will be taking my exam.	८ बजे मलाई फोन नगर्नुहोस् किनभने म आफ्नो परीक्षा दिइरहेको हुनेछु।

Tense 3: Future Perfect Tense

Structure: Subject + will have + Past Participle (V3) + Object

Use:

• To show that an action will be completed BEFORE a specific time in the future.
• To express certainty about a completed action in the future.
• To show that something will be finished by a certain deadline.

Time Adverbs: By, By the time, Before, Until, In (with time), By tomorrow, By next week, By 2027, etc.

1	I will have finished my homework by 9 PM.	मैले ९ बजेसम्म मेरो गृहकार्य सकेको हुनेछु।
2	She will have submitted her report by tomorrow.	उनले भोलिसम्म आफ्नो रिपोर्ट बुझाइसकेकी हुनेछिन्।
3	They will have left the station before we arrive.	उनीहरू हामी आइपुग्नुभन्दा पहिले स्टेसन छोडिसकेका हुनेछन्।
4	We will have built our new house by the end of this year.	हामी यस वर्षको अन्त्यसम्म हाम्रो नयाँ घर बनाइसकेका हुनेछौं।
5	He will have saved enough money for his trip.	उनले आफ्नो यात्राको लागि पर्याप्त पैसा बचत गरिसकेका हुनेछन्।
6	I will not have finished the project by Friday.	मैले शुक्रबारसम्म प्रोजेक्ट सकेको हुनेछैन।
7	Will they have reached Kathmandu by 6 PM?	के उनीहरू ६ बजेसम्म काठमाडौं पुगिसकेका हुनेछन्?
8	She will have graduated from university by 2027.	उनी सन् २०२७ सम्म विश्वविद्यालयबाट स्नातक भइसकेकी हुनेछिन्।
9	By the time you wake up, I will have gone to work.	तपाईं उठ्दासम्म, म काममा गइसकेको हुनेछु।
10	We will have completed this course in three months.	हामी तीन महिनामा यो कोर्स समाप्त गरिसकेका हुनेछौं।

Tense 4: Future Perfect Continuous Tense

Structure: Subject + will have been + Verb(+ing) + Object

Use:

• To emphasize the duration of an action that will be ongoing UNTIL a specific time in the future.
• To show the cause of a future situation.
• To talk about the length of time an action will have been happening.

Time Adverbs: For (duration), By, By the time, When, For two hours, For three weeks, Since, etc.

1	I will have been studying English for three years by June.	म जुनसम्म तीन वर्षदेखि अङ्ग्रेजी अध्ययन गरिरहेको हुनेछु।
2	She will have been working at this company for a decade by 2027.	उनी सन् २०२७ सम्म यो कम्पनीमा एक दशकदेखि काम गरिरहेकी हुनेछिन्।
3	They will have been playing cricket for five hours by the time we join them.	उनीहरू हामी सामेल हुँदासम्म पाँच घण्टादेखि क्रिकेट खेलिरहेका हुनेछन्।
4	He will be exhausted because he will have been running all morning.	ऊ थाकेको हुनेछ किनभने ऊ बिहानैदेखि दौडिरहेको हुनेछ।
5	We will have been waiting for the bus for 30 minutes when it arrives.	हामी बस आइपुग्दा ३० मिनेटदेखि पर्खाइ गरिरहेका हुनेछौं।
6	I will not have been sleeping for long when the alarm rings.	म अलार्म बज्दा लामो समयसम्म सुतिरहेको हुनेछैन।
7	Will she have been teaching at this school for 15 years by next March?	के उनी अर्को मार्चसम्म यो विद्यालयमा १५ वर्षदेखि पढाउँदै हुनेछिन्?
8	By next summer, I will have been living in Australia for five years.	अर्को गर्मीसम्म, म अष्ट्रेलियामा पाँच वर्षदेखि बसिरहेको हुनेछु।
9	They will have been constructing this bridge for two years by December.	उनीहरू डिसेम्बरसम्म दुई वर्षदेखि यो पुल निर्माण गरिरहेका हुनेछन्।
10	When we meet next week, I will have been preparing for my PTE exam for six months.	हामी अर्को हप्ता भेट्दा, म आफ्नो PTE परीक्षाको लागि छ महिनादेखि तयारी गरिरहेको हुनेछु।
