What
is Answer Short Question?
The Answer Short Question (ASQ) is a
task in the PTE Academic Speaking section where you:
- Listen to a question (audio plays automatically)
- Answer with a single word or short phrase (2-3 words
maximum)
- The question tests your basic knowledge and vocabulary
Simply put: You hear a question and give a short, one-word answer.
