Task Introduction

In this task, you listen to a short academic recording that ends with a beep sound, which replaces the final word or phrase. It tests your ability to follow an argument closely and anticipate how a speaker will conclude.

Sample Set 1: Urban Green Spaces

Audio Script (Approx. 55 words):

"Urban parks provide significant environmental benefits, from reducing city temperatures to filtering air pollutants. But their advantages extend beyond the environment.
