Different between I and Me
1. “I” – Subject Pronoun
Use “I” when the pronoun is
the subject of the verb — the one doing the action.
Examples:
- I went
to the market.
- My brother and I
are playing football.
- I think
it's going to rain.
Tip:
Use “I” when the pronoun comes before the verb and is doing the action.
2. “Me” – Object Pronoun
Use “me” when the pronoun is
the object — receiving the action or following prepositions (like to,
for, with, etc.).
Examples:
- He called me yesterday.
- Can you help me with this?
- She gave the gift to me.
- The teacher saw my friend and me at the shop.
