Elmwood Sports Centre – Membership Guide

Elmwood Sports Centre offers a wide range of facilities for the local community. The centre opens at 6 a.m. from Monday to Friday and closes at 10 p.m. On weekends, it opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 8 p.m. The centre is closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Harbourline Ferry Service – Passenger Information

Harbourline Ferry Service connects the city centre with three nearby islands. The service operates every day of the year except 25 December. Ferries run from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The ferry to Green Island departs every 30 minutes. The journey takes 20 minutes. The ferry to Seal Island departs every hour, and the journey takes 45 minutes. The ferry to Coral Island departs every two hours, and the journey takes one hour and 15 minutes.

Tickets can be bought at the ferry terminal or online. A return ticket to Green Island costs $12. A return ticket to Seal Island costs $18. A return ticket to Coral Island costs $25. Children under 5 travel free. Children aged 5 to 15 pay half price. Seniors over 65 receive a 20% discount.

Passengers should arrive at the terminal at least 15 minutes before departure. Boarding closes five minutes before the ferry leaves. Passengers with bicycles must pay an extra $5. Bicycles are not allowed on the Coral Island ferry.

Small dogs may travel on the Green Island and Seal Island ferries if they are kept in a carrier. Dogs are not allowed on the Coral Island ferry, as it is a nature reserve.

Meadowbank Hospital welcomes visitors and asks them to follow these rules to ensure the comfort and safety of all patients.

Visiting Hours

General visiting hours are from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Visitors to the children's ward may visit from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors to the intensive care unit must speak to the nurse in charge before entering. Only two visitors are allowed per patient at any time.

Parking
