Silverline Bus Company – Passenger Guide

Silverline Bus Company operates routes across the city and to nearby towns. The company has been running for over twenty-five years and carries more than 80,000 passengers every week.

Buses on most routes run every 10 minutes during peak hours (7–9 a.m. and 4–6 p.m.) and every 20 minutes at other times. On Sundays, buses run every 40 minutes. Night services are limited to four routes: Route 2, Route 7, Route 11, and Route 19.

Tickets can be bought from the driver or through the Silverline mobile app. The fare for a single journey within the city is $3 for adults and $1.50 for students. Children under 5 travel free. Day passes cost $7 and allow unlimited travel until midnight. Weekly passes cost $28 and monthly passes cost $95.

Passengers must have the exact fare if paying the driver in cash. The driver cannot give change. Contactless cards and mobile payments are accepted on all buses. Seniors over 65 with a valid concession card travel free on weekdays before 4 p.m.

Bicycles are not allowed on buses unless they are foldable. Small pets may travel if they are carried in a secure basket or cage. Guide dogs always travel free.
